GOAT has decided to take an indefinite hiatus. All gigs have been cancelled and there are no future plans for the band at this point. Thanks for all your support of the music and the band. We greatly appreciate it.

Here is a link to a great piece in the New York Times about our Racer Sessions scene and our good friend, Cuong Vu. Our fearless man behind the drum kit, Chris Icasiano, gets a little mention too. Dig it. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/08/29/arts/music/29seattle.html?_r=2
Also, we are excited to announce that we will be putting out our next record on the Table And Chairs record label, which is associated with The Racer Sessions and includes our fellow artists Cuong Vu, Heatwarmer, Operation ID, Bad Luck and more. The label is slated to launch in March of 20011. Stay tuned
We will be back in full force with some new music that is FUCKING HEAVY!!! Can’t wait to melt some faces. Expect tons of Goat in 2010/2011.
Mark your calendars. Tons of great Seattle-based talent in the heart of Ballard. Oct. 9th…stay tuned for more shows…………
Go check out our drummer Chris Icasiano in his group, Bad Luck, tonight at 8pm at Gallery 1412. These guys will blow you away!!!!
Went to a great show last night at Healthy Times Fun Club on Capital Hill. It’s an all ages venue without smoking or drinking. The best part about the show last night, as well as the other DIY shows that I have attended in Seattle, is that the places are packed with young people who are stoked about music…and cutting edge music at that. There is nothing better than going to see some killer bands that most clubs are afraid to book and that a lot of people of my age are afraid to listen to. The music that I heard last night was as good as it gets…original music that is played well and an audience that is open and enthusiastic about it. The young people have it right and it’s because of this that I’m optimistic about the future. -Skiff
Go check out our friends Heatwarmer at Healthy Times Fun Club between Pike and Pine on 11th, it’s the door underneath the Annex Theater sign. These guys kill it!!!
