Special Agent

Special Agent is the debut release of the Seattle based jazz/rock trio Goat. Released on Present Sounds Recordings, the CD builds on ideas across musical genres. Saxophonist Greg Sinibaldi contributes most of the pieces (three of the eight tracks are credited to the whole group), and primarily plays the rarely seen Electric Wind Instrument (EWI). This disc/band is a bold new direction in music – no bassist, the adept and sometimes jarring combination of acoustic and electronic instruments, with the presence of the EWI, gives Sinibaldi and Goat a wider range of sounds and loops to draw upon. This disc will please music aficionados and art rock fans who appreciate the raw energy and surprises of amplified music with the intricacy of well-considered compositions. Check it out
